Chicken in yogurt in a multicooker
Description
You can use any chicken pieces for this recipe, marinating them in plain yogurt with your favorite spices. The yogurt's acidity will not only give the dish a delicate flavor but also make the chicken extremely tender and juicy. Marinate the chicken for anywhere from one hour to 24 hours—the longer, the better. Cooking in a multicooker frees you from constant monitoring and prevents burning. Serve the yogurt chicken with your favorite side dish—rice, mashed potatoes, or a fresh vegetable salad. This lunch or dinner will delight not only you but also your loved ones.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for cooking chicken in yogurt in a multicooker. Peel and rinse the garlic. Rinse the herbs, in my case dill, and shake off the water.
- 2
Step 2

Finely chop the herbs and finely mince the garlic, then place them in a bowl. It's best to mince the garlic rather than press it, as pressing releases its oils, which can make the dish taste bitter.
- 3
Step 3

Pour natural yogurt into a bowl. Add salt, pepper, and mix well. Now you can add your favorite spices or seasonings.
- 4
Step 4

Rinse the chicken, pat dry, and cut into pieces if using a whole chicken or half a carcass. Place the chicken pieces into the marinade, mix well, and refrigerate for at least one hour to marinate.
- 5
Step 5

Transfer the chicken together with the sauce into the multicooker bowl.
- 6
Step 6

Close the multicooker lid and set the "Baking" mode, time 40-50 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

After the sound signal indicating the end of cooking, open the multicooker and serve the dish immediately. The bottom part of the chicken pieces will be nicely browned, while the top will remain light.

Step 8

Chicken in yogurt in a multicooker is ready.
