Chicken in garlic sauce
Description
This chicken will be not only an indispensable part of a festive table, but also its decoration. I cooked the legs using a classic recipe from the last century. You can use spices to your taste, but I highly recommend using Provence herbs.

Step 1

1. It's quick to prepare and impresses even the most demanding gourmets with its amazing taste. Which part of the chicken should you choose? I used the legs (they are best suited for a festive table, as you can arrange them in the shape of a daisy on a serving dish), but you can choose other parts as well.

Step 2

2. Grease a heatproof casserole dish with oil and add the sour cream, then squeeze in the garlic. Mix everything thoroughly. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Rinse the chicken legs, pat them dry with a paper towel, then season with salt and pepper. Another tip—I add a "Grill Mix" spice blend, which enhances the flavor, intensifies the aroma, and makes the meat even more savory.

Step 3

3. Pour the sauce over the meat so that it completely covers the chicken. After this, you can sprinkle everything with Provence herbs (they, combined with spices and garlic, will give the meat a unique flavor).

Step 4

4. That's it, now you can confidently put our chicken in the oven for about 45 minutes. It should bake no longer than an hour, until a golden crust forms. If your oven heats only from the bottom, place the baking tray higher up. Here's another small tip – surround the legs with tomato slices and sprinkle everything with cheese on top.

Step 5

5. The chicken bakes quickly. Serve the meat with mashed potatoes and any porridge. If you prepare chicken in garlic sauce at home for a festive table, your efforts will be greatly appreciated, as the meat turns out exceptionally delicious.
