Chicken stewed with pumpkin
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The dish turns out juicy and very tasty thanks to the original sauce with a spicy pumpkin aroma. Chicken stewed with pumpkin goes well with rice, but can also be served as a standalone dish. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

Chicken thighs can be used with bones. Simply cut them into small pieces, add salt, spices, and wine, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour—or preferably overnight, if time allows. This way the meat will marinate well and absorb the aroma of Provencal herbs. Remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator, place it onto a well-heated pan, and fry until a golden-brown crust forms.

Step 2

While the thighs are roasting, prepare the pumpkin. Rinse it and remove all the excess (peel, seeds). Cut the pumpkin into small pieces and place them on the pan with the chicken.

Step 3

Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings or in any other way. Add it to the pan, mix well, and simmer covered for about 15 minutes over low heat.
