Tandoori chicken
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Today I want to share with you a recipe. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Remove the skin from the chicken thighs and dry the meat with paper towels.
- 2
Step 2

Make deep cuts on the chicken drumsticks; this will help the spices and sauce penetrate deep into the meat and also reduce baking time.
- 3
Step 3

Mix the juice of half a lemon with paprika, pepper, turmeric, and salt. Stir well.
- 4
Step 4

Thoroughly rub the marinade into the chicken thighs on all sides and in the cuts. Let sit for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Step 5

While the chicken thighs are marinating, prepare the flavorful sauce in which they will be baked. To do this, mix kefir with the juice of half a lemon, add a pinch each of paprika, oregano, coriander, and dried herbs. Finely chop the garlic, and finely chop or grate the ginger. Add them to the sauce.

Step 6

Generously coat the chicken drumsticks with the sauce, place them in a baking dish, and put in the oven for 40 minutes. During this time, I brush the chicken with the sauce 2-3 more times, resulting in a thick, flavorful crust on the drumsticks.

Step 7

Tandoori chicken is ready. Serve with your favorite side dish and a vegetable salad.
