Chicken with tomatoes and mushrooms

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Rub the chicken with salt and pepper. In a large pot with a tight-fitting lid, heat the oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden, for 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a plate. Add mushrooms and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Add garlic, tomatoes, and oregano. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Return the chicken to the pot and simmer for another 4 to 6 minutes. Serve hot with sauce.
