1. Prepare the ingredients. Thaw the chicken, wash it, and pat dry.

2. Prepare the marinade. Mix the soy sauce with the selected herbs and spices. Add the juice of one orange (I substituted lemon juice).

3. Add chopped onion, honey, and other marinade ingredients to taste (I usually also add 2-3 tablespoons of mustard and mayonnaise).

4. Blend the marinade in a blender until it becomes quite thick. I also added lemon zest for this.

5. Rub the chicken with the marinade on all sides.

6. Now add the orange pieces, garlic cloves, or onion slices to it.

7. Set to "Stewing" or "Pilaf" mode for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. If needed, cook for an additional 10–15 minutes.
