Step 1

We slice the onion into half-rings and cut the mushrooms in half. Heat a frying pan and place the mushrooms on it, then cover with a lid. Once the water has evaporated from the mushrooms, add a piece of butter and the sliced onion, then fry for a few more minutes. Rinse the chicken and cut it into small pieces. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper; you can add spices to taste. Coat the chicken pieces in this mixture, then place them into a preheated frying pan with added oil.

Step 2

Fry the chicken until it develops a golden crust on all sides, then transfer it to a plate and wash the deep skillet, as we will need it now.

Step 3

Place the pan over heat. When it dries, melt the butter in it, add the breadcrumbs left from the chicken, and fry for 1-2 minutes. Then pour in the chicken broth, add the chicken and sautéed mushrooms with onions. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Now add the sour cream, mix well, and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve the chicken with your favorite side dish, garnished with fresh herbs. Enjoy your meal!
