Chicken on a bottle
Description
Helpful tip. Since fat will drip from the chicken during cooking, pour a pack of salt onto the baking tray and spread it evenly so that the fat drips onto the salt. This will prevent smoke from filling your entire apartment.
Instructions

Step 1

Wash the chicken thoroughly and dry it with paper towels. Mix mayonnaise and spices in a bowl. Generously coat the chicken with the mayonnaise and spice mixture, making sure to cover not only the outside but also the inside.

Step 2

To allow the meat to marinate better, you can leave it for an hour and a half. Meanwhile, prepare a bottle. A 0.5-liter beer bottle works best. Remove all labels from it and fill it halfway with plain water.

Step 3

Place the chicken onto the prepared bottle and put it in the oven. To prevent the bottle from cracking, first preheat the oven to 50 degrees, place the chicken inside, and then set the temperature to 170-180 degrees.

Step 4

The chicken will be ready in about an hour. To check for doneness, pierce it with a knife—if it goes in easily and the juice runs clear without blood, it's done. Carefully, so as not to burn yourself, remove the chicken from the bottle and cut it into pieces. Serve on a plate with fresh herbs.
