
Chicken on a can (simple and delicious)
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Thanks to the technique of cooking chicken on a can, the meat turns out very juicy, tender, and well-steamed. For a richer flavor and aroma, use your favorite spices, and for a beautiful golden color, don't forget to add a little turmeric and paprika. This is probably one of the simplest and most effective ways to bake a whole chicken in the oven, cooking it evenly on all sides at once, as there's no need to flip the bird. Serve hot.

1. Wash and dry the chicken with a paper towel. Tie off or secure the neck area with toothpicks. Mix together paprika, turmeric, ground hot pepper, mixed peppers, coarse salt, and ground bay leaf.

2. Rub the chicken with spices both inside and outside. Let the chicken marinate for 30-60 minutes or overnight. Gradually fill half the jar with boiling water to warm it evenly and prevent it from cracking. Add bay leaf and peppercorns.

3. Place the jar on a baking sheet and pour a little water into it; the water should remain in the baking sheet throughout cooking. Place the chicken on top of the jar. Wrap the chicken wings with foil.

4. Place the chicken in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 1 hour. During cooking, baste the chicken with the liquid from the baking tray. Mix the minced garlic, salt, and olive oil until smooth. Brush the hot chicken with the garlic and oil mixture.
