Chicken pieces with potatoes
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A real bachelor's dinner or lunch—potatoes, chicken, and sausages. Perfect for a big family too! To prepare chicken pieces with potatoes, you'll need either chicken quarters or a whole chicken (maybe even two). Cut into medium portion-sized pieces. Use good beer, unfiltered or light. Spices—according to your taste. That's the whole simple version. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Chicken pieces were thoroughly coated with spices and set aside for now.
- 2
Step 2

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. In a frying pan, sauté chopped garlic in oil.
- 3
Step 3

Then fry the onion; if it's small, you don't even need to chop it finely.
- 4
Step 4

Fry the onions and garlic and place them at the bottom of the baking dish. Now fry the sausages.
- 5
Step 5

Place them on top of the onion and garlic. Now peel and slice the potatoes, and add them to the other ingredients in the dish.
- 6
Step 6

Let's return to the chicken: fry it until golden brown on all sides.
- 7
Step 7

We also place the chicken into the baking dish. Pour broth over everything. As for the beer, here's what we'll do: pour it into the still-hot skillet and simmer for several minutes, stirring with a spatula. Then, pour the beer over all the ingredients in the baking dish: the potatoes should be completely covered, but the chicken should not be fully submerged.
- 8
Step 8

Place the pan with the ingredients in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

If necessary, add more broth or beer to keep the chicken from drying out.
- 10
Step 10

Serve the cooked chicken in pieces with potatoes and beer sauce.
