Fried chicken with button mushrooms

We thoroughly wash the chicken and dry it, removing any excess parts.

The mushrooms should also be rinsed, then cut in half.

In a deep skillet, heat the oil. Add the chicken pieces and sear the chicken over medium heat until a light golden crust forms.

Now add the mushrooms.

Continue frying for another 10 minutes over medium heat. Then add sour cream, salt, pepper, and spices. Cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat, and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.
