Chicken stuffed with ham and cheese
Description
The recipe won't take much time. No wonder so many home cooks love this method of preparing chicken stuffed with ham and cheese—at least all my acquaintances are absolutely crazy about it. And it's no surprise, since with this recipe we can quickly create a delicious dish using minimal ingredients. I cook this chicken stuffed with ham and cheese at home both for holidays and for regular dinners, because it's truly fast, tasty, and economical. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

We wash the chicken fillet and dry it thoroughly. Place the fillet on a cutting board and slice each piece lengthwise into two parts (not all the way through), creating a pocket.
- 2
Step 2

Now place about a spoonful of pesto sauce and half a slice of ham onto one half of the chicken fillet, add a piece of cheese on top, and close the meat pocket.

Step 3

In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and dried herbs, adding a little salt. Coat the stuffed fillet on both sides with this mixture, then transfer it to a baking dish.

Step 4

Cover the baking dish with foil and place it in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius. After 15–20 minutes, remove the foil and cook the chicken for a few more minutes uncovered, so it browns nicely. Transfer the finished dish onto a plate and serve with a vegetable salad. Enjoy your meal!
