Description

Kupaty cooked in an air fryer can be served either cold or hot. Any side dish will go well with them. This delicious dish can adorn not only an everyday table, but also the most sophisticated festive one. Kupaty are a semi-finished product that can be stored frozen for some time and cooked as needed. When prepared in an air fryer, they turn out more tender, juicy, and healthier.

    1. Thoroughly wash the pork intestines in warm water. Do not rinse them in very hot or ice-cold water, as this makes the intestines brittle and prone to bursting during frying. After washing, soak the intestines in warm water for about 40 minutes.

    2. Meanwhile, prepare the stuffing. Grind the meat and fat through a meat grinder several times to make the stuffing as fine as possible. You can also use a blender for this.

    3. Add salt, sugar, spices, and dry mustard to the ground meat and fat. Mix thoroughly. Add cold water and mix again carefully.

    4. The sausage filling should be rather runny (resembling liquid batter). Now add the dry milk. Mix well.

    5. Fill the casings with the resulting meat mixture using a special sausage stuffer attachment for a meat grinder or any other convenient method.

    6. Tie the stuffed casings to form sausages 12–15 cm long. Then place them in the refrigerator for several hours to let the filling settle.

    7. Grill the prepared sausages in the air fryer at a temperature of 175-180 degrees for about 20-30 minutes.
