
Sesame halva
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This method can be used to make halva from sunflower seeds and even peanuts. Sesame halva is an unusual dessert based on sesame, milk, flour, and vegetable oil. This oriental treat has an amazing taste. Serve chilled.

1. Toast the sesame seeds slightly in a pan, then grind them in a blender or meat grinder several times. It is better to use a meat grinder.

2. Toast the flour in a skillet as well. Let it cool, then set aside.

3. Mix the ground sesame with flour. Add vegetable oil. Mix the mixture until smooth.

4. Boil the milk with sugar until the sugar dissolves completely.

5. Let the milk cool, then pour it into the sesame mixture and start stirring everything.

6. Take a board and cover it with plastic wrap. Spread the prepared halva evenly on it. Choose the thickness to your preference (I like the layers to be no more than 1 centimeter thick). Then place the halva in the refrigerator until completely set.

7. Cut the halva into pieces of desired size and serve. The halva usually takes about half an hour to set.
