
Mushroom kundumy
Description
The recipe won't take much time. For kundyums, the dough is scalded with boiling water and a little vegetable oil is added. A very tasty old Russian dish. Serve hot.

1. Prepare the dough. Mix vegetable oil with boiling water. Sift the flour, add salt, pour in the mixture of vegetable oil and boiling water, and quickly blend everything in a food processor.

2. Transfer the dough to a board and continue kneading it. Then roll the dough into a very thin sheet.

3. Cut the dough sheet into squares (approximately 5x5 centimeters, but you can make them larger).

4. Prepare the filling. Soak the dried mushrooms for 15–20 minutes, then boil them in water. Pour the broth into a separate container. Finely chop the mushrooms, peel the onion, and sauté everything in a pan with vegetable oil. Let the filling cool down.

5. Place half a tablespoon of filling in the very center of the dough square, brush the edges of the dough with water. Fold into a triangle, seal the edges to form a dumpling.

6. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, place the kurdyumy on it and bake for about 15 minutes in the oven (at 200 degrees). Prepare mushroom broth and add spices to it. Distribute the kundyumy into small pots, pour mushroom broth over them, and place in the hot oven for about 15 minutes. The dish is ready.
