Description

The recipe won't take much time. What Easter would be complete without a delicious and aromatic Easter bread? And if for some reason you don't have an oven but do have a Redmond multicooker, this simple recipe will come to your rescue. Of course, oven-baked goods are always tastier—that's common knowledge—but you certainly can't leave your family without an Easter kulich! Find out from this recipe. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

First, prepare the sponge. To do this, dissolve dry yeast and one teaspoon of sugar in warm milk. Let the yeast rise and form a foam. Then add 2-3 tablespoons of flour and mix well. Place the sponge in a warm spot and let it rise.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Beat the eggs with sugar, then add cottage cheese, melted and cooled butter, salt, and vanilla sugar. Beat and mix until smooth. The cottage cheese lumps should not be noticeable in the resulting mixture.

  3. 3

    Step 3

Add the sponge, mix well, and gradually incorporate the sifted flour in small portions. Knead a soft, elastic dough. Cover the dough with a towel, place it in a warm spot, and let it rise until doubled in volume.

  4. 4

    Step 4

Cut the candied fruit into small pieces. If using raisins, wash them in advance and dry them. Add the candied fruit or raisins to the dough.

  5. 5

    Step 5

Grease the inner pot of the multicooker with butter and place the dough ball into it. Now wait until the dough doubles in size again.

  6. 6

    Step 6

Close the multicooker lid, set the "Baking" mode and time — 1 hour.

  7. 7

    Step 7

While the kulich is baking, you can make the icing: beat well 1 egg white, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and 100 g of powdered sugar.

  8. 8

    Step 8

We remove the ready-made kulich from the multicooker and let it cool. Then we cover it with icing and sprinkle with candied fruits or colorful sugar sprinkles.
