Easter bread with raisins
Description
The baking is simple and quick. If you prepare the Easter bread according to my instructions, you'll end up with a lot of dough. You can place it in one large mold or divide it among several smaller ones. This taste is familiar from childhood and will surely delight your children too. Take a look and remember: serve it cooled down or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Mix 2/3 of the flour with the yeast. Add vanilla, eggs, raisins, and sugar. Mix everything thoroughly.
- 2
Step 2

Place the milk on the stove. Dissolve 150 grams of butter in it. Then cool down to 40 degrees. Pour the mixture into the flour and continue stirring.
- 3
Step 3

Add the remaining flour. Knead the dough. It may seem a bit runny, but don't be alarmed. This is correct, it's supposed to be this way. Let the dough rise for two hours in a warm place.

Step 4

At this time, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease the pan with the remaining butter. Place the dough into the pan. You can leave it for another 30 minutes to allow it to rise by half.

Step 5

Bake for the first 20 minutes at 180 degrees, then another 20 minutes at 160 degrees (check the readiness of the kulich yourself, it might be ready earlier). Decorate as desired before serving; I sprinkled mine with powdered sugar.
