
Easter bread with candied fruits
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. I bake Easter bread with candied fruits using yeast dough. I either buy candied fruits or use my mom's, which she makes from pumpkin. It turns out very tasty. Children love Easter bread with colorful candied fruits. Prepare it for Easter. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Add 500 g of flour and a spoonful of sugar. Mix thoroughly. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover the bowl with a towel, and leave it for an hour or more. The starter should double in volume.

Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the whites into a thick white foam.

Rub the yolks with sugar, then add melted, not hot, butter. After that, add the beaten egg whites.

Add the egg mixture to the risen sponge. Incorporate the flour and knead a soft dough that does not stick to the hands. Place the dough into a bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rest for another one to two hours.

After the specified time has elapsed, add the candied fruits to the dough and knead the dough once again.

Grease the baking pans, fill them one-third full with dough, and cover with a towel. Let the dough rise until it fills three-quarters of the pan.

Bake the Easter bread with candied fruits in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for an hour.
