Delicious baked treat for the whole family. This homemade Easter kulich is made from yeast dough. Follow the step-by-step instructions with photos if you've never prepared this dough before. The result will be a fluffy and soft kulich that will delight everyone. Serve with tea or coffee.

    1. Prepare the ingredients.

    2. Dissolve fresh pressed yeast in milk. You can add a pinch of salt.

    3. Prepare the starter. Add a little flour to the milk and let it sit in a warm place for about 10-15 minutes.

    4. As soon as the sponge starter starts bubbling and forms a frothy layer, it's ready.

    5. Separate one egg white from the yolk. It will be needed for the glaze. Add the remaining eggs to the dough.

    7. Into the ready sponge, add melted butter, sour cream, sugar, and eggs. Mix well.

    9. You should end up with a soft, pliable dough. Cover with a dry towel and let it rest in a warm place for an hour.
