Kulich that doesn't crumble
Description
Tasty baked goods for the whole family. For all the housewives who love baking Easter cakes, I offer my recipe for a festive treat. The cake turns out aromatic, delicious, and it doesn’t crumble at all. If anyone is interested in my recipe, I’ll share all the secrets.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Pour the sugar into a deep bowl, add soft butter at room temperature. Beat with a whisk or use a mixer.
- 3
Step 3

Add the eggs one at a time and whisk them.
- 4
Step 4

Add sour cream and stir.
- 5
Step 5

Add the baking powder and mix again.
- 6
Step 6

Add the sifted flour.
- 7
Step 7

Mix the dough; it should have the consistency of thick sour cream.
- 8
Step 8

Distribute the dough into any suitable molds, filling them halfway. I used 400‑gram molds — it makes two medium kulichs.
- 9
Step 9

Bake the kulichs in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30–35 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

Slightly cooled kulichs, remove them from the pan and let them sit on the table for another 10–15 minutes.
- 11
Step 11

Decorate the finished kulichs with any icing and colored sprinkles. When sliced, the kulich does not crumble and perfectly retains its shape, while remaining soft.
