Even if you're just starting out in the kitchen, you can easily prepare these breads using this very simple recipe. The dough for these breads is made without yeast, yet the breads still turn out aromatic and delicious. Try baking these breads once using this recipe, and I'm sure you'll love them. Thanks to the cottage cheese, the bread will be quite dense and satisfying. I'm providing the recipe with step-by-step photos below, so now you'll know exactly how. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

    Beat the eggs with regular and vanilla sugar until the granules disappear.

    Melt and cool the butter, squeeze juice from half a lemon. Add the butter, juice, and a pinch of salt to the eggs, mix thoroughly.

    Add the cottage cheese to the resulting mixture. You can chop it beforehand with a blender, or mash and rub it directly together with the egg-butter mixture. There should be no lumps!

    Now we start adding the flour mixed with baking powder. The dough should be elastic and quite thick.

    Now you can divide the dough into two parts and make one portion of the kulich with candied fruits.

    And the second part - with washed and dried raisins. Add the raisins, candied fruits, and mix the dough so that the candied fruits and raisins are evenly distributed.

    Place the dough into baking molds. Silicone molds do not need to be greased, but grease metal molds with oil and lightly dust with flour. Bake the kuliches in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40–50 minutes. Check for doneness with a wooden skewer.

    Let's prepare the glaze for Easter breads: beat the egg white with sugar until the sugar granules are completely dissolved and a fluffy, stable mass is obtained.

    Glaze the kulich only after they have cooled down. Sprinkle with colored sugar sprinkles.
