
Easter bread without yeast

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Pour boiling water over the raisins and let them soak for 10 minutes, then drain and dry them on a paper towel. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Mix the yolks with sugar and the butter cut into pieces, then beat with a mixer until smooth.

2. In a separate bowl, mix the sifted flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.

3. Add the dry ingredients to the whipped mixture. Beat again with a mixer. Gradually, while stirring, add the milk to the resulting crumbs.

4. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the batter using a spatula with an upward motion. Add the dried raisins.

5. Pour the dough into a greased baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven for 60 minutes. Let the finished kulich cool and cover with icing.
