Corn doughnuts
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. These doughnuts taste very similar to regular ones. Serve them with powdered sugar or chocolate glaze. You can also fill them, for example, with condensed milk or custard. Serve the doughnuts right after cooking, while they're still hot, or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
In a deep bowl, combine wheat flour and corn flour, add salt.
- 2
Step 2
Slightly warm the milk and water, add honey and mix. Add the dry yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- 3
Step 3
After 5 minutes, stir until the yeast is completely dissolved.
- 4
Step 4
Make a well in the flour in the bowl and pour the milk mixture into it. Separately beat the egg and also pour it into the flour. Mix the ingredients until a smooth, uniform mixture forms.
- 5
Step 5
Place the dough on a greased surface and knead for 5-8 minutes until smooth.
- 6
Step 6
Place the dough back into the bowl and let it rise for 45-60 minutes
- 7
Step 7
Make a topping for donuts. To do this, mix sugar and ground coriander.
- 8
Step 8
Place the dough on a surface and roll it out. Take two round cutters and cut out donuts, using a larger one for the outer edges and a smaller one for cutting out the center (you can use a cup and a shot glass).
- 9
Step 9
Take a pot, fill it ¾ full with vegetable oil, and heat it well. Fry the doughnuts for 1-1.5 minutes until golden brown.
- 10
Step 10
Sprinkle the finished doughnuts with a mixture of sugar and coriander, and serve immediately.
