Cornmeal porridge in Panasonic multicooker
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The recipe for cooking corn porridge in a Panasonic multicooker is very simple. One could say it's a classic recipe adapted for the multicooker: the ingredient quantities and proportions have been slightly adjusted so that even with this new appliance, you can prepare the same familiar childhood porridge with its beloved taste. The finished dish can be served at the table.

Step 1

1. Rinse the grain thoroughly under running water. Then wait for all the water to drain. Place the grain into the multicooker bowl. Sprinkle with sugar.

Step 2

2. Next, pour in the milk and add a piece of butter. Set the timer for 30 minutes using the "Milk Porridge," "Soup," or "Stewing" mode.

Step 3

3. After the specified time, stir the porridge. Mix it with a wooden spoon, then set the timer for another 10 minutes in "Bake" mode (if you prefer a crust on the porridge and a thicker consistency).

Step 4

4. I usually don't do that, and serve the porridge right after turning off the multicooker. However, I still add a piece of butter directly into the bowl, because you can't ruin porridge with butter!
