Croissants with tangerine jam and almonds
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. Making classic croissants requires a lot of effort and time, as preparing puff pastry dough is quite labor-intensive. I'll show you how to quickly make croissants with tangerine jam and almonds using ready-made puff pastry. It's easy, fast, and the result is delicious :) The pastry can be either yeast-based or non-yeast. Make the croissants any size you prefer. I find it more convenient to make mini croissants from non-yeast dough, as they turn out crispy and crumbly, and a large croissant would be a bit messy to eat. Ready to bake? The pastries are done. Serve them at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Here are all the ingredients for making delicious croissants. The dough needs to be thawed.
- 2
Step 2

2. Slightly roll out the dough and cut it into triangles as shown in the photo. Our croissants will be mini :)

Step 3

3. According to the rules, the dough triangles should be evened out to make them isosceles, but I didn't have time. Place about half a teaspoon of jam onto the base of each triangle.

Step 4

4. To prevent the sweet jam from leaking during baking, slightly wrap and press the dough around it.
- 5
Step 5

5. And roll them into croissant-shaped rolls like these.
- 6
Step 6

6. Turn on the oven and let it heat up to 180-190 degrees. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush them with beaten egg.

Step 7

7. Sprinkle with almond flakes and put in the oven. You can add the almonds together with the jam—it will also taste delicious.

Step 8

8. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
