Croissants with chicken
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Usually, croissants are associated with sweet pastries, aren't they? Let's break this stereotype! In fact, savory croissants are equally popular in Europe. One variation is chicken croissants. In my opinion, these turn out very successful and tasty. Give them a try! The recipe for chicken croissants is as follows: 1. Thaw ready-made puff pastry and roll it out. 2. In a small saucepan, heat the milk (but do not boil), then add flour. Cook, continuously whisking, until the sauce becomes smooth and uniform. Season with salt and pepper. 3. Cut the rolled-out puff pastry into small triangles. Place a small amount of thinly sliced cooked (boiled or fried) chicken fillet onto each triangle. 4. Pour a little sauce over the chicken. 5. Sprinkle with grated cheese. 6. Carefully roll each triangle into a croissant shape. It's very simple—just start from one of the sharp corners and roll it up. 7. Place in an oven preheated to 175°C (350°F) and bake for 15 minutes. That's it—your chicken croissants are ready! Serve with tea or coffee.
