Description

Croissant fillings can vary widely; buns can be filled with cheese, sausages, cottage cheese, jam, jellies, and creamy fillings. Combine and thoroughly mix milk with dry yeast, salt, and sugar, then let it sit for about 5 minutes. Melt butter in a small saucepan (you can also use margarine). Beat the egg into the melted butter, then add kefir and the yeast mixture. Add flour and vegetable oil to the same mixture. Knead the dough.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour. As a croissant filling, you can use anything you like.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Roll out the dough into a thin circle, as for rolls. Spread the filling over it. In this case, the filling is cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, and sour cream.

Cut the flatbread into 8 equal wedges.

Roll the croissants from the base to the tip. Place the buns on a baking sheet, bending them into a crescent shape.
