Crostata with cottage cheese and jam
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Crostata is an Italian tart made with shortcrust dough and filled with berries or fruit. In this recipe, we'll use ricotta or homemade cottage cheese made from rich milk as part of the filling. A slightly tangy jam works best; I'm using plum jam. Serve with tea or coffee.
