Wash the rabbit, dry it, and cut it into pieces. Fry it in a skillet with vegetable oil until golden brown, then transfer to a pot for stewing.

Place a crushed garlic clove into the skillet in which the rabbit was fried, sauté it, then remove it from the skillet and pour in the wine. Add sour cream and mustard, season with pepper. Simmer the sauce for a short while.

Pour the resulting sauce over the rabbit and leave it on the stove. Simmer, covered, over low heat for forty minutes. At the end, add sprigs of thyme and rosemary.
