Rabbit in creamy sauce
Description
This rabbit will make an excellent main dish for any festive table. The meat turns out tender and juicy. Serving it in bread will surprise all the guests gathered at the table. When choosing bread, try to prefer not freshly baked, but slightly aged bread, so it doesn't fall apart when soaked with sauce.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Sear rabbit legs in a mixture of vegetable and butter for 20 minutes. Boil the potatoes. Cut all the vegetables, including potatoes, into small pieces and add them to the pan with the rabbit once it is browned. Mix and simmer.

Step 2

Prepare a sauce from cream (can be mixed with sour cream) and broth. Add salt, pepper, thyme sprigs, and garlic to taste to the sauce. Pour the sauce over the rabbit with vegetables and simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Prepare a "bowl" from bread. To do this, take small round loaves of bread, cut off the tops and bottoms, then remove the crumb, leaving only the side walls.

Step 4

Place the bread "base" on a wide, flat plate, then put the rabbit with the vegetables and sauce on top. The bread will soak up the sauce—and it will be delicious to eat with every bite.
