Rabbit in beer
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The recipe for rabbit in beer is very simple and at the same time quite interesting. I found it quite recently, and I liked the idea of cooking delicious rabbit meat in a beer marinade so much that I prepared it the same day. Overall, the result exceeded all my expectations: the meat turned out incredibly tender, soft, and simply melted in the mouth, along with the characteristic bread-like aroma common to all dishes cooked with beer. If you're interested, I'll gladly tell you how to make beer-braised rabbit using my simple recipe. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the rabbit carcass into portion pieces and thoroughly wash under cold water.

Step 2

Then we prepare the spices. I take a mixture of black, white, green, red, and allspice, add a little rosemary, and grind them.

Step 3

Now pour the beer into a deep saucepan, add 1.5 teaspoons of salt, spices, and sliced onion rings. Place over heat and bring to a boil. Pour the resulting marinade over the rabbit and mix. Press down with a weight, then once cooled, refrigerate for several hours.

Step 4

I place the marinated rabbit on a paper towel to remove excess liquid.
- 5
Step 5

In a skillet, heat the oil and add the rabbit pieces. Sear over high heat until golden brown.
- 6
Step 6

Now pour the remaining marinade over the rabbit.

Step 7

Simmer the rabbit until fully cooked. Cooking time depends on the size of the carcass; I needed approximately 1 hour. Serve the cooked rabbit with any side dish and garnish with herbs if desired.
