
Rabbit in mushroom sauce
Description
The most tender rabbit meat, falling off the bones and cooked in a creamy mushroom sauce, will surely delight your taste buds. Prepare all the ingredients.

For cooking, take a cauldron or any thick-bottomed cookware. Pour in the oil, heat it, and add rabbit meat cut into portion-sized pieces.

Add salt, spices, mustard, and sauté the meat until a golden crust forms.

Slice the carrots into rounds, and cut the onion into strips or half-rings. Add to the meat and mix. Fry the rabbit with the vegetables for about 5–7 minutes.

Pour in water (it should completely cover the rabbit) and simmer, covered, over low heat for 1.5 hours.

The meat should be fully cooked.

Then add the sliced mushrooms and garlic. Let the rabbit with mushrooms and vegetables simmer in the pot for another 20 minutes.
