Description
It pairs perfectly with tea and coffee. Rye crisps are made simply and very quickly, exactly as indicated in the step‑by‑step instructions. Crisps go great with all foods, with cheese, vegetables, meat, and fish.

Prepare the ingredients.

Sift the rye flour into a bowl.

Add a pinch of salt, flax seeds (golden and brown), sesame seeds (white and black), don’t pour out all the seeds—keep some aside for later use.

Stir, add a tablespoon of olive oil.

Add water.

Knead the dough, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rest in this state for 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough into a thin sheet, 2 mm thick.

Sprinkle the remaining seeds on top, add a pinch of sea salt, and roll with a rolling pin, pressing firmly so the seeds adhere well to the surface.

Cut with a pizza cutter into equal rectangles.

Place the crisps on a baking sheet, discard the dough scraps, arrange them on the pan in any free space, and pierce with a fork so that the crisps retain their shape while baking. Bake for 20–25 minutes at 180–200 °C, checking doneness by tasting the scraps—they’re so tasty.
