
Shrimp in a Wok
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. Delicious pan-fried shrimp to go with beer or salad can be prepared very simply and quickly in a wok. We are used to boiling shrimp; I offer you a simple recipe for cooking shrimp in a wok. Because a wok heats up very well, food cooks in it very quickly and retains most of its properties and nutrients. So, here we go. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

If you have frozen shrimp, rinse them with boiling water and let the water drain off. Peel the garlic and cut each clove into 4 pieces.

Place the wok over heat, add oil, and heat it well.

Add garlic, salt, and pepper to heated oil. You can add dry spices. Sauté for literally a minute.

Add part of the shrimp to the wok and start stirring them.

In a wok you cook at high heat and food cooks fast, so as soon as the shrimp start to curl into a C shape, they are done. Quickly remove them and add a new batch to the wok. Before adding the next portion of shrimp, you can take the garlic out of the oil. You can place the fried shrimp on a paper towel so it absorbs the excess oil.
