
Shrimp in tomato sauce

1. If you bought frozen cooked shrimp, simply thaw them. If you have fresh shrimp, bring water to a boil and boil the shrimp for 2 minutes. Then peel them. However, leave a small tail at the end, as shown in the photo. The shrimp shells will add a special "shrimp" flavor to your dish.

2. Preheat the oven in advance to 180 degrees. Peel the onion and garlic. Finely chop the onion. Cut off the stem of the chili pepper and remove the seeds. Chop it into pieces. Peel the tomato and cut it into pieces. Place all the prepared vegetables except the onion into a blender and puree until smooth.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sauté the onion until translucent, then add the shrimp and tomato sauce. Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice to the skillet, and mix well. Simmer everything together for no more than 2 minutes.

4. Prepare the baking dishes in advance. Grate the cheese on a medium grater. Place the shrimp together with the sauce into the dishes, and generously sprinkle with the grated cheese. Do not cover the dishes with lids. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes. Serve this dish hot. Enjoy your meal!
