Shrimp in Sauce
Description
You can make this delicious seafood dish in just 15 minutes! Choose shrimp of any kind. The larger they are, the longer they'll need to simmer in the appetizing sauce. Most importantly, be sure to thaw them before cooking.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the specified ingredients. "Tom Yum" sauce can be purchased at the supermarket, in the same place as the shrimp.

Step 2

Thaw the shrimp and rinse them in water. Thoroughly shake off any excess moisture from the seafood. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add the shrimp. Sauté for about 3–5 minutes, depending on their size.

Step 3

When the seafood changes color, add the sauce and press in a peeled garlic clove. If desired, you can replace it with dried ground garlic or omit it altogether. Pour in hot water, add salt and ground black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 4

Rinse and chop the green onion, then add it to the shrimp along with 2–3 slices of red hot pepper. You can skip these two ingredients if children will be eating the shrimp! Gently mix everything together and simmer the seafood in the sauce for about 3–4 minutes.

Step 5

Then place the shrimp in Tom Yum sauce on a platter or plate and serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
