
Crispy Breaded Shrimp
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Peel the shrimp thoroughly, lightly pound them, make small slits, and coat in breadcrumbs. Then bake in the oven. Serve hot.

1. Rinse the shrimp, cut off the heads, and bend the tails. Between the shell segments, you should see a black intestinal tract. Use a wooden toothpick to lift and remove it (refer to the recipe photo). Peel the shrimp, leaving only the tail portion unpeeled. Now preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2. Cut the shrimp along the back. Make diagonal incisions from left to right and then from right to left with a knife. Gently pound with the knife handle (the tail should become flat).

3. Mix the flour with water to obtain a smooth, liquid batter. Add a pinch of salt. Dip the shrimp into the prepared batter.

4. Pour the breadcrumbs onto a plate and transfer the shrimp there. Roll the shrimp in the breadcrumbs until it is completely coated with a breadcrumb crust.

5. Grease the baking tray with oil (or line it with parchment paper), then arrange the shrimp on it. Place the shrimp in the oven on the middle rack and bake for about fifteen minutes.

6. Transfer the cooked shrimp to a plate. Serve the shrimp hot with soy sauce, although they will also taste good with mayonnaise mixed with finely chopped onion.
