Shrimp Wrapped in Bacon on Skewers
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. Here is a classic recipe for bacon-wrapped shrimp on skewers. I recommend serving the finished dish with a sauce; a melted cheese sauce with fried onions works best. You can serve the dish directly on the skewers, like kebabs, but it is much more convenient to transfer the shrimp to a deep plate and eat them with your hands, dipping them in the sauce. Good luck. They can be served warm or chilled.

Let's prepare the marinade. In one container, mix: soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, maple syrup, salt, pepper, and grated ginger (optional).

The shrimp should be boiled first, then peeled.

Step 3

Place the shrimp in the marinade and leave for 40 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the shrimp from the marinade, wrap them in thin slices of bacon, and thread them onto wooden skewers. You can fit 3–4 shrimp on each skewer.

Fry tiger prawns wrapped in bacon on a grill pan (without oil). Sear for 2 minutes on each side.
