
Cream made from boiled condensed milk and sour cream
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A quick-prep cream made from sour cream and sweetened condensed milk. It works wonderfully in any dessert and simply as a sweet sauce for baked goods. If you'd like a thicker version, use a few packets of sour cream thickener. Serve chilled.

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can buy ready-made boiled condensed milk at a supermarket or store, or boil it yourself (simmer a can of regular condensed milk for 1.5 hours).

Place sour cream of any fat content (preferably thick) into the bowl of a mixer or food processor, add 5-6 grams of cream stabilizer, and mix in 1-2 tablespoons of granulated sugar.

Beat everything at medium speed for about 2-3 minutes, until the thickener is evenly distributed throughout the sour cream and thickens it. Then add 1-2 tablespoons of condensed milk at a time, beating well after each addition. In other words, gradually incorporate the condensed milk into the cream in portions.

At the end of cooking, the cream should have a caramel appearance and taste. Then it's definitely ready. Place the container with the cream in the refrigerator or set it in a cold place to thicken a bit more.

Then use it as intended. Assemble a delicious cake, trifle, pastry, or simply serve with hot croutons, toast.
