Chop the chocolate.

Melt the chocolate over a steam bath. To do this, bring water to a boil in a small saucepan, then place a small bowl with chocolate on top of the saucepan.

When the chocolate has completely melted and turned into a smooth mixture, let it cool to room temperature.

Now place the butter in another bowl and beat for 2–3 minutes at medium mixer speed.

Add the slightly beaten egg yolk and vanilla extract to the whipped butter, then beat everything together for another 2 minutes.

Reduce the speed to low and, without stopping the beating, gradually add the powdered sugar to the mixture.

As a result, you should get a light, fluffy, pale-yellow mass.
