
Crackers
Description
The pastries are simple and quick to make. I'll explain in more detail below. They can be served with tea or coffee.

Prepare all the ingredients.

In a large deep bowl, combine all the dry ingredients.

Pour in the olive oil.

And then gradually add cold water.

With your hands, begin mixing all the ingredients so the liquid is absorbed into the flour. Then begin bringing the dough together. If after 1–2 minutes the dough is still very crumbly, add another 1–2 tbsp. water.

Gather the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and place it in the freezer for 12–15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3–4 mm.

Using a cookie cutter, cut out horse shapes. Pierce with a fork. Gather the scraps together and roll out again.

Place the crackers on parchment paper or a baking mat and bake for 10–12 minutes.

Cool the finished crackers on a wire rack; once cooled, they will become crispy.
