Beet-Dyed Eggs (Pink)
Description
Of course, decorating eggs with beets will take a little more time than with egg dyes, but I assure you: the result is worth it. The eggs will turn out very beautiful, with a natural pink hue, and you can be confident that your loved ones and your children are eating a natural product (oh, if only we were as confident in the quality of eggs as we are in the quality of natural dye). Prepare the necessary ingredients. Choose beets that are as pink and as richly pigmented as possible. Hard-boil the eggs.

Grate the beet on a coarse grater.

Place the beets in a pot, add vinegar and water. Put over heat and cook for 20 minutes after it comes to a boil (covered).

Place the boiled eggs in a deep bowl. Strain the contents of the pot and pour the beautiful pink liquid over the eggs. Leave the eggs like this for 30 minutes; if you have time, you can leave them overnight — then the eggs will turn burgundy.

The eggs came out beautiful, a soft pink. By the way, the quality of the coloring depends not only on the beets but also on the eggs themselves. As you can see in the photo, one egg turned out brighter than the other three, even though it sat in the dye for exactly as long.
