Step 1
To make gingerbread, pour a cup of sugar into a dry saucepan with a thick bottom and add a tablespoon of water. Cook the caramel until it turns dark brown. Then add a second cup of sugar and cook until completely dissolved. Add butter to the prepared caramel and mix thoroughly.

Step 2
Add your favorite spices (cinnamon, cloves, etc.) to the mixture and mix thoroughly. Then carefully add the eggs to the caramel, making sure the caramel has cooled down first. Knead the mixture until smooth, then add a pinch of salt and baking soda.

Step 3
Sift the flour and add it to the caramel. Mix thoroughly until the dough becomes uniform. Knead the dough on a floured surface until it stops sticking to your hands. Once this is achieved, wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Step 4
Next, cut the dough, roll it out into thin sheets, and use a mold to cut out the gingerbread shapes. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the gingerbread for 5 minutes. Let the gingerbread cool.

Step 5
Now let's move on to decoration. To prepare the glaze, mix egg white and powdered sugar. Place the glaze into a piping bag and let your imagination run wild. Decorate the gingerbread cookies, let the glaze harden, and serve!
