Pearl barley is not only a very healthy and beneficial product for health and beauty, but also quite economical. You can prepare many different dishes from this grain, but perhaps the most delicious and interesting idea is this simple recipe for pearl barley halva bars. The treat turns out truly amazing, although slightly firmer than regular halva bars. But if you don't have any issues with your teeth, that's no problem at all. I often make pearl barley halva bars at home because I always have this grain on the shelf, yet we rarely use it for other dishes. Try making this wonderful treat from pearl barley yourself—I hope you'll enjoy its taste as much as I do.

    First, pour the grain into a colander and rinse it several times under hot water.

    Then transfer the barley to a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

    After that, the grain should be placed on a preheated skillet and thoroughly toasted.

    Add vegetable oil to a frying pan and sauté the barley, stirring, for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.

    Next, we pour sugar into the saucepan and add honey, place the saucepan over heat and warm the mixture, then add salt.
