
Sesame Halva
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Don't over-fry the sesame seeds, as they may become bitter. Keep in mind that honey is quite allergenic, so it's better to warn guests about it before serving them the halva. Serve chilled.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making sesame halva.

Toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden brown.

In another skillet, mix honey and sugar.

Place the honey with sugar over medium heat and cook for 15 minutes.

Mix the sesame with the honey mixture and stir quickly.

Line any mold with parchment paper and grease it with vegetable oil. Transfer the sesame mixture into the mold, smooth it out, and make cuts on the surface. Let it set completely, remove from the mold, peel off the parchment paper, and cut into pieces.
