Gingerbread cake in Redmond multicooker
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Gingerbreads are made with honey and various spices, and if possible, with nuts and dried fruits as well. For making gingerbread in a Redmond multicooker, I recommend using thick honey—not too runny, but not crystallized either. Cinnamon, coriander, and cloves will give the baked goods a pleasant aroma; add them by a pinch each. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

In a small saucepan, first combine all the liquid ingredients: water and vegetable oil. Add sugar and honey, place over low heat, and stir until the honey and sugar dissolve.
- 2
Step 2

Remove the mixture from the heat, cool to slightly warm, then add the baking soda.
- 3
Step 3

Mix the flour with cocoa and baking powder separately, then add spices (cinnamon and cloves work especially well). Add the dry mixture to the liquid ingredients and knead the dough until smooth, without lumps. The consistency should resemble thick sour cream.

Step 4

Rinse the raisins and apricots, then chop the apricots into small cubes. You don't need to chop the raisins. Finely chop the nuts. Add everything to the dough.

Step 5

I recommend not only greasing the inner pot of the multicooker with oil (you can use either butter or vegetable oil), but also sprinkling it with breadcrumbs. Pour in the batter, set the "Baking" mode for one hour (or 70 minutes).

Step 6

Sprinkle the ready-made gingerbread in the Redmond multicooker with powdered sugar before serving.
