Gingerbread with dried fruits
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. This recipe is great because you can use absolutely any dried fruits you like as additions, but not only that. Nuts, dried cherries, and candied fruits work wonderfully too. You can always vary the ingredients—use regular sugar instead of brown sugar, or kefir instead of milk, for example. There are no eggs in this recipe, but the cake turns out incredibly tasty. I highly recommend giving it a try. Serve it warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
