Oatmeal Gingerbread
Description
1. First, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and let it heat up. 2. Prepare a heat-resistant baking dish, grease it with oil, and dust it with flour. 3. Sift the remaining flour together with baking powder and salt into a deep bowl. Add the oat flakes to the same bowl. Mix everything until uniform. 4. Peel the bananas and mash them into a puree. 5. Add vegetable oil and mix well. 6. Place sugar and honey into a small saucepan. Heat over the stove just enough to melt the sugar, but do not let it boil! 7. Remove from heat and add the banana-oil mixture to the saucepan. Mix thoroughly. 8. For extra flavor, you can add cinnamon, vanilla, ginger, or nutmeg to the oat cake recipe. 9. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the liquid mixture. 10. Whisk everything into a smooth, lump-free batter. 11. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and place it in the oven. 12. After 35–45 minutes, the homemade oat cake will be ready. Carefully remove it from the dish, let it cool slightly, then cut into serving pieces. That's it—your cake is ready to serve! Enjoy it either cooled down or slightly warm with tea.
