Gingerbread Cake

Description
The egg is rubbed with honey and sugar in turn. Then add cloves or cinnamon and mix thoroughly again. Add flour (reserve some for dusting the baking sheet) mixed with baking soda to the mixture. Quickly knead the dough, then place it onto a greased and floured baking sheet, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the cake with nuts, then bake for about 10–15 minutes in an oven preheated to 200°C. Let the finished cake cool, cut it in half horizontally, and spread with jam. Just before serving, cut the cake into rectangles or squares and dust with powdered sugar. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
