Cutlets in dough in the oven
Description
It's very easy to prepare meatballs in dough at home—just wrap a meatball with a strip of dough, and it's ready! These meatballs are also convenient to take to work or serve to unexpected guests. With a little creativity, you can shape them into fun little hedgehogs (as shown in the photo). I used pre-prepared yeast dough made by the "cold" method. Other ingredients needed are: meat, onion, garlic, stale bun, semolina, milk, salt, pepper, and egg for brushing. Good luck!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Break the stale loaf into pieces and pour milk over it.
- 3
Step 3

Pass the pork, squeezed bread, and garlic through a meat grinder.
- 4
Step 4

Add salt and pepper, the milk in which the bread roll was soaked, and semolina to the prepared meat mixture. Mix thoroughly.
- 5
Step 5

Form the patties and coat them in flour. Then fry on both sides for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- 6
Step 6

Roll out the dough taken out of the refrigerator in advance and cut it into rectangles.
- 7
Step 7

Wrap the cutlets in strips of dough. Leave one end free, and seal the other end like a regular pie. Place the cutlets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the dough with egg, then use scissors to make spikes resembling a hedgehog's quills. Take the leftover dough, shape it into small balls, dip them in egg, and attach them to the open part of the cutlet – this will form the hedgehog's "snout".

Step 8

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
